Update 2/6/2015

Posted by Michael Balsewicz on February 6, 2015 at 7:55 PM

It is currently Friday the 6th, this means that tomorrow, week 5 of the build season officially ends. This is both exciting and stressful. We still have a substantial amount of work to do yet on our robot. Since the last update not much has changed. We are still fabricating parts in our shop, which again, is running faster than last year for we have a new CNC. Our two mechanism camps are finishing up their devices, and are getting ready to mount it on the robot to test their design. The arrangements for the regional in Milwaukee are done thanks Mrs.Vertz.  We are looking forward to going.  Our chairman’s video is also coming together, our interviews are in the process of being filmed, thanks Ben. Our media will be easier to create next year with our pending installment of Adobe Premiere® on a few computers in the lab we use. There are still eighth graders coming in to learn the ways of our team, this is going to extremely benefit our team next year.  We are currently looking for a company to print our coloring books at a price we can afford.  An additional thanks’ goes out to the parents who have provided food to our team. The mentors that come in and show us how to do tasks they use in their work field.
