It is currently Friday the 6th, this means that tomorrow, week 5 of the build season officially ends. This is both exciting and stressful. We still have a substantial amount of work to do yet on our robot. Since the last update not much has changed. We are still fabricating parts in our shop, which again, is running faster than last year for we have a new CNC. Our two mechanism camps are finishing up their devices, and are getting ready to mo...

Busy, busy, busy! Sorry there have not been many updates recently. This has been due to the fact that our Webmasters have been busy with their additional machining duties. Through the past week and a half we have made significant progress with our robot. “HOUSTON, WE HAVE ‘ER DRIVING!” Our robot is driving very well and we also have very good handling at higher speeds. The two main design groups working on robot mechanism...

This involves innovative ideas such as scissor lifts and a wheel intake mechanism. Electrical was testing out different electrical pannels with our kit bot. Chairman's is working on a fundraising campain for anti-drug awareness in the school, th...

Tonight was spent on many things. One was finishing programming and testing our autonomous tracking code. The code’s objective is to move itself toward a certain hue of yellow, which will be useful while in autonomous mode at competitions! We also worked on many prototypes on Autodesk, those being an intake system for totes, placement of our electrical board, and placement of our upper frame. Meanwhile, off of Autodesk we had a group working on an actual attachment for our mock-up upp...

We are well into our season. The begining of week one was spent  deciding upon the many ideas on the size of the frame, and the main scoring device. Now, in week two we have our lower base frame done, and we are now working on our scoring mechanisms.  We have two main prototype groups, the Interstack, lifting and stacking totes inside the main cavity of the robot. We also have the Elavator Group who are building an elavator to lift the totes and making a stack that is easily movable...
