Sweeping and general cleaning of the machine shop and tweaking the practice robot. A problem with the winch meshing with the motor on one side. Around 7pm - took the practice bot to the library for test runs and manuevering, and discussion on what's good and bad.

Gathering supplies for the practice robot's winch, fixing the winch, gathering carpet for use on our practice field, and Eric Hoffman practiced driving. Battery exchanging and charging.

Setting up the library for practice driving, moved back to Blersch's for programming, removed the arm for replacement, but had to put back due to time restraints :P

/// Thursday, 3-03-05

Making the replacement fork lift for the practice robot, gathering all ball bearings possible, the lift is attached and works quite well. No practice because of the lift being attached.

As of Monday, Eric is requiring people to yell at him as he drives the practice robot. We had to make *numerous* adjustments to the practice bot's pulleys and strings, some permanent, some temporary.

Several team members helped Eric practice robot driving in the school library monday evening by yelling at him. Practicing in a quiet safe place like a library is very different from the pressure of driving during a competition where you are expected to perform after recieving the venom of your last alliance partner which you lost the match for, scolded by your coach, jeered at by the members of the next opposing alliance while the crowd is being so loud you can't even hear the official yelling some probably important instructions at you knowing you have to do an almost impossible task with a most likely broken robot, and oh did I mention you only have 2 minutes so hurry up will you, kind of situation. So it helps to create that kind of environment for practace. Eric's skill went down as people started yelling monday so it does make a difference. Thanks to those who helped out. But we need more, Eric will be practicing after 5:00 every night this week. Your team needs you now, be there!
