We completed the frame for the prototype of our drive. It consists of two bars of 3/4" Chromoly and two 2" x .25" plates (where the gearboxes will be mounted. The underclassmen continued on their VEX designs.

I got the gearboxes completely modeled in Inventor and started working on a possible frame for mounting.

Jake Kummrow and David Hamann completed a PVC prototype of Lowell's arm idea and we found its strong points and weeknesses. Without revealing too much information to the public, it is able to pick up a ring off of the floor and secure it with a gripper. I can email pictures later if requested.

John and Dicky spent most of their time drilling the mounting holes for the gearboxes so they fit on the UHMW pivot plates.
